IMO... A spring-loaded magazine like the *cough cough achoo* ZetaMag *sneeze wheeze spit* would probably be a little easier to manage on the field and as a low-volume product than dealing with the old stripper clips.

Tho... maybe a breech that can take both?

I'd definitely be interested and 15 and 10 round mags for my smg 60 sniper, stripper clips and spare parts would definitely be welcome. Hippyboyscott a smg can't use both stripper clips and mags because without the stripper clips the paint won't be aligned with the barrel and it'd break itself on the lip of the barrel, it'd have to be for one or the other. Also stripper clips would be a much cheaper option and pouches wouldn't have to be specialized as a small general purpose pouch would fit quite a few stripper clips.

You know I don't always have the best ideas late at night... I recall now that the SMG-68 wouldn't really be able to chamber a ball fed from a mag very well...

so looks like trigger groups may be first.. ok hear comes the hard part.. i need a working FA group to take to machine shop to copy.. i need a loner in as new condition as possible you would get the first copy as a reward .. im not taking money or making a list yet till i know its 100 working.

Are the fa groups the same? I thought the smg series had a proprietary trigger group, I'd play it on the safe sife and try to borrow a smg 60 trigger group instead. Also just a suggestion but I'd make the stripper clips a priority as they're easy to make, should be relatively cheap, and are sought after by most if not all smg owners. I'd say get in touch with a injection molder after you look into the trigger groups, maybe even look into it before the trigger since you still have to find a trigger group to model it off of.

He is using FA as a term for "full auto", not the Tippmann FA. The early SMG 60 came with a 2 stage trigger that would do full auto or simi, depending on how far you pulled it.

yes thats right i need a smg 60 trigger group.. i have been talking to a injection molder about the striper clips and thats going to be much harder to make..but will be on the list im just going to need to make enough to justify the mold cost..
