Problem with a 98...

So i was talking with a friend about paintball at work the other day. He told me he was having problems with his 98. He got it to me today and im looking over it and the barrel is crooked. I was thinking the barrel had no o-ring but it does. I put my jj ceramic on it and its still crooked.

Its a pre-495,000 so I dont think im using a wrong threaded barrel.

Any Ideas?

That doesn't make sense at all because the threads themselves are embedded in the body like all guns. I would have to see a picture to make a call on this and also is it threading directly into the gun or is their an adapter? Definiteley have to get a picture or send it back to tippmann and they should send you a new one..........should.........Definitely get a picture for us.

This is true, I was just looking at the PDF manual at Tippmann.com .
It doesnt look like the marker could be bent because the halves would just separate. Must be a bent barrel.

Better put that barrel on ebay then and try to get $200 out of it. Mark it as a rare item.

I thought flatline at first, as who knows, someone could have written J&J on it.

I'm stumped until some sort of photos shows up.

I stand by my statement that unless it is an adapter or a very mis-shapen manufactured tippmann then it cannot be bent period

I will use something that I have not used before:

Ok ill try to get some pics. I did take it apart and, to me, it looks like the gun was droped/hit by something and damaged the threads in the two halves.
