That's PERFECT, thanks. Is that visible screw on the front of the power tube the velocity adjuster?

Does that screw penetrate the same cavity that the extra blowback air for recocking and the Cyclone goes into? It's just a "volumetric" velocity adjust, right, where more screw gets threaded in and reduces the volume inside the pressurized compartment?

Excellent! That's what I was hoping for.

Now for the method to my madness, I had a brainstorm last night about my F/A, I've seen talk about putting a Cyclone on but the problem was always trying to tap the moving valve for the hose. Then I realized that the set screw for velocity adjustment is going into the power tube, similar to what you've just shown. So why tap a new hole in the valve when you can just rig up a new banjo screw to replace the velocity adjuster, and attach the banjo fitting to that? Minor modwork but it's outside the gun so it's easily returned to stock.

Strange, on my 98C and all my other loaner 98C's, its on the opposite end where the hammer is located:

Yes, someone actully hooked up a cyclone like this(captial paintball I think?). Just hooked up the hose, not the whole thing, but he got it to cycle. He said it did miss a couple times, but my guess is it will function fine when there's a bit of back pressure from a ball in the breach.

I'd be interested to see a finished project, hoep it works out!

It sure makes me a lot more willing to do it if I don't have to hack up the marker. If it's just a matter of rigging up some kinda banjo screw/fitting in the VA screw hole, should be pretty easy and worthwhile. Now I just have to pick up a Cyclone.
