Pro-Lite 45 grip

Anyone have the 45 grip upgrade on their Pro-Lite who'd like to give me a quick review of it (fit form function, etc). I'm considering getting one for a F/A (since the ASA in the grip is a little annoying on my wrist) and swapping the sear and safety out to maintain the full auto.

Wow! This takes me back ...

I made this upgrade to my Pro-Lite back in '96 or '97.
Perfect fitment, easy instructions, no brainer. Although, I don't know anything about the F/A sear or how it might fit in the frame. Since it's an early Tippmann, it probably works w/o a problem.

I made the swap because the M-16 grip just wasn't comfortable for me at all. For some reason, the back of the frame was always digging into the top of my thumb and hand.

I kind of wish I kept the old grip just so I'd still have all the original parts. (it still might be kicking around in my dad's basement)

It's a direct swapover, my personal prolite has a Carbine frame on it.

That being said, The F/A trigger will work fine, the select fire switch however, Questionable.

I've got a Carbine frame with the guard removed and a double-trigger installed which you can have...just gimme an address to send it to. I had it for sale for a while and had zero offers, so I guess it's not worth much. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but part of wanting a new frame was getting rid of the hose-guard and replacing it with a real trigger guard. Not much use for a double trigger on a F/A.

I know I've seen a F/A with a .45 grip (and the selector switch). you may have seen pictures of it. all the accent pieces of the gun are bright magenta, and the main body is chrome. it's got a mini-lite vertical adaptor, and a matching magenta expansion chamber in the vertical position. It used to hang on the wall at PB Sports in Fort Wayne for years until it was sold on eBay a couple years back.
