A question for the tippmann savy.

I just bought a new tippmmann proline reg off ebay. It is the bottomline reg that is remarkably similar to the THOR reg from PMI. I thought they were part for part the same but I find that the left side of the reg has standard 1/8" NPT threads as I expected but where the THOR has the same thing on the other side this new reg has a small threaded hole.

What is the hole and what is it for? Anyone have a clue?

I'm having an issue picturing the reg in my head, isn't it to show for leaks?

Wouldn't know to be honest, haven't used one of those in a while, I would think a gauge, but wouldn't the hole be a bit small?

I would say that is it to leak excess air when you take the tank off. I would guess that when you unscrew your tank, there will be a burst of air out that hole to degas the gun.

This is the reg you use on the e-bolt... so that little hole with threads is for lp air to your noid... It doesnt do anything to the in going pressuere on your gun.. its like a micro rock..
