| Active Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Georgia | tippmann prolite... read inside ok so im buying another gun , (have like 14 with two of the 14 still on the way not counting the prolite) (lol) but its going to be a tippmann prolite which is the reason for the title, so i have a few questions. ok first of all i would like to know how much a working one is worth, mine that i shall recieve is infact in working condition and shall come with the stock 45 round hopper , a newer 200 round hopper , strap thing to go around your shoulders i guess , a crappy mask (brass eagle i guess) and a nice ounce tank ,also something in a little baggy but i cannot tell what it is. so if someone could tell me the general price range for a stock prolite just the gun and then a price for all i have above that would be nice. also is this a good gun because from my research (i get bord) it seems to be a faviorite for many people, just alot of the say that they dont have much range or upgradeble things. i dont care about neither of those things but would just like to know what people think of the guns. this is probily become my main woodsball gun and currintly using (as a woodsball gun only!) a tippmann m98. so if someone could answer my questions that would be awsome , and i shall only say that the gun as a package cost me about $40 to $55 |

| All Hail King Skippy!! Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Phillipsburg, NJ | Prolites are worth around 50 in nice, used condition. Add that stuff and maybe another 10 in a package deal. Prolites are great workhorses. As far as "range" they have the same as any other paintball gun that's chrono'd the same. Their accuracy with the stock barrel usually leaves something to be desired, although a good polish with some auto wax does wonders for the barrel. But since they use the same threads as a5's and x7's, barrels are readily available(though they are limited b7y the o.d. of the barrel where it needs to go under the foregrip). A J&J ceramic barrel can be had for around $30, and is an excellent choice . I love my prolite, and use it quite often. Its not a bps machine, but its a reliable, fun shooter, Put a drop of oil in the asa and the front and rear bolt o-rings occasionally, and it'll rarely let you down.
