| Kool Mod | Well I got the info on these at my shop a couple of weeks before they came out. Price margins were great and I intended on getting some for the shop. Well about tow weeks after I received the factory direct dealer info, I saw them at the local Wal-Mart. They had the XT and the eXT and also the power packs. So even though I can offer a much better service then Wal-Mart it still hurts the sales a little. Oh Well I guess thats how the cookie crumbles. |

| Why am I here...? | After watching that video and reading through the comments and giving it a second thought, I think even though the look is an abortion of sorts, at least it gives people a fighting chance then most of the standard off the shelf markers that you see at the local non paintball store. I'll give it credit that it is walkable (the eXT model), and at that price and where it's actually available, that seems pretty decent to me. Lol, if it was me when I was a newbie, I would have given up my leaky stingray II anyday for something like that. And little kids love to imitate (the 'pros' walk the trigger) Yeaa, like Shartley said, if it brings in the players...then it's good. No one is gonna stick with that thing forever lol.

I always have been a proud Tippmann promoter and have sold more Tippmanns then I could begin to count. It is just a plastic body around the A-5 internals. and you can pick up the electronic model for $129.95, which is almost the cost of just the e-trigger for the 98 or A-5, still have yet to sell one or shoot one personally. |

| The Brown Guy! | I would tend to say it is 98 internals, look at the position of the charging knob. But, then again, I'm lazy, and didnt read into anything. First impression = CRAP! After video = Meh... wouldn't but it, but, I could see people buying it.

Yes, it does just boil down to a matter of taste. I like things that are reliable and will last. Something that will survive weather extremes and hard use. The Triumph does not fit those criteria any better than the next product by Kingman or Brass Eagle, and this is disappointing to me because I had prized Tippmann products for their keyed-down design and reliability. And every time I see a new guy toting a Triumph, I know that he'll probably never learn a better way.

Look at the video, I see a guy popping up in the same spot every time and walking the trigger. Is that good for a fun game? Remember before suppresive fire where someone could get a bead on you and hit you if you were playing a bunker that dumb? If everyone is armed with these the game will suffer no doubt, and if the new 16 year-old players brought in by them-who mostly have a 1 month attention span for the sport are the only ones left who can tolerate it, we're in for certain destruction. Fortunately for us, most aren't willing to go quietly into the night! ![]()
