| MCB Member Join Date: May 2006 | Hi, I'm trying to fix a tippmann f/a. Its missing the hopping spring and the marker does not do full auto properly. It cycles out of control. I was told that possibly the pistons are empty of the oil. Suggestions? And what is the oil mixture that they use for the pistons? Smiley |

Tippmann doesn't carry F/A parts anymore. The easiest option is get a machinist to rig up an adapter to run a Qloader or Warp directly into the breech, that screws into the mounting holes. Alternately, you can hook up a Cyclone, however you still need an adapter spacer to go between the body and feeder, and need to run the air line somehow. The least destructive way I figured out was to get a 1/4-28" hollow threaded rod and replace the velocity screw, then screw it into a custom adapter to take 10-32 threads. The problem is there is no such thing as 1/4-28 hollow threaded rod, so you have to get 1/4" tube, and a 28 die and thread it yourself. The only 1/4-28 female to 10-32 female threaded fittings I've found are like $35 each..with a min order of $50.
