| Its a good possibility that you'll get some liquid runnig that way, especially when the tank is full.

| Yeah Duckster... you may want to run that tank vertically with the valve pointed up on your vest if possible, as opposed to horizontally. But with a good CO2 friendly reg like a Palmers Stab. you will be golden. |

| Note: I called Tippmann a couple years ago, and they told me the Cylone, and R/T were SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to handle liquid. (as well as all the guns, except the E-Bolt). Neither require regulation, and work by diverting exhaust. Using a siphon produces more exhaust, but otherwise there is no change. Its pretty awesome to see a R/T rip on a siphon tank with a Halo. You will get newbs telling you its impossible on a co2 tank, but just ignore them. NOTE: Since Tippmann was sold to a "mega company", they no longer tell siphon tanks, and all support for siphons ended there. As such, newer models may use cheaper parts, and not work well with liquid any more. As for Expansion chambers, they DO add effeciency, but how much depends on the gun. E/C do not "let gas expand". They provide SURFACE AREA, so the co2 can faster absorb ambient heat. That extra heat means that the valve can get more energy out of the same amount of co2. This is why expansion chambers had "fins", and are not just hollow tubes. nick |

| From my experience, running a vert CO2 tank will get you frosty, fast. Especially with an R/T. It's general practice that if you're running anything but the stock trigger, use HPA. The R/T is a huge gas hog so while you CAN run it as you first mentioned, it's not the BEST way to run it. I used to run a Pro-Team Intruder x-chamber on my A-5 before I got HPA. It's actually a nice little setup because you can screw the tank into the chamber. Balances the marker out well. If you're still dead-set on using CO2 with an R/T, I'd get me one of these first.

| This is a common misnomer. It really doesnt use that much more gas because it is running off of the gas that would just be wasted anyways. It takes some of the gas from the blowback operation and reroutes it, thus the gas would already be there anyways, but you are utilizing it instead of wasting it. It might use a tiny bit more, like a few shots, but nothing extremely noticible. |
