Tombstone Wobble and Trigger stops

Hi!
Is there a way to elimenate the side-to-side wobble at the tombstone adapter? Something simple like an O-ring or shim of some sort that's been proven to work?

I have another woe.
I strongly advocate usage of the safety This, however, when engaged, pushes the trigger farther forward than where the trigger should be for an ideal trigger stop location. Is there a way to modify the safety assy to overcome this distance and still remain useful as a safety? And this is a stretch, but in the trigger assy, can something be rigged to keep the trigger at the point of actuation and no farther forward? I don't want to have to stick a screw up through the bottom of the trigger guard to stop the trigger from going full forward.

Thank you, and I hope I was clear!
-Steve

Steve,
Take the trigger assembly out of the grip and facing the front of it to the left remove the left side plate.

You will see that you can drill and tap and put a small screw in the top of the nose of the trigger thru the long verticle spring to limit rearward trigger movement, and you can also put one in the front of the trigger to limit forward movement. This one would go in the lower left square shaped area of the trigger and the screw would hit the bottom of the spring perch to limit the forward movement.

It's not easy to describe without pics, I'll try and get some up for you soon.

As far as the tombstone wobble, is it comeing from the tombstone itself? I've not had or heard of any problems in this area. (considerable experience with A-5s) give me a little more info as to your exact set up, air line routing/parts etc and we can work it out.

Tombstone wobble is fairly common from what I've seen. All I did on mine was put a small piece of electrical tape on the round base of the Tombstone adapter and put it back on the gun,Hasn't wobbled since.

I'm running a 3.5oz tank right up into the tombstone/vertical ASA, Britt.
I'll tinker with the trigger eventually. Finals week

Gotcha.

IMHO it shouldn't wobble much when it's gassed up. The pressure pushes the tombstone toward a bind in the powertube/valve assembly and it should be fairly firm. If not you may want to check with tippmann as there have been multiple different versions of the tombsone, and they may be able to send you a different one.

I believe I have an old mech trigger here that I did the adj mods too. I'll see if I can't find it and take pics for you... or at least take a couple pics to get you pointed in the right direction over your Christmas break

Now get off the board and study...
