well after a day of play all i have to say is this bad boys great! i did not have any issues with my crossman 12ies. my accuracy was great with the hammerhead barrel and was ok with factory. and i found for my self that 7 in the clip works alot better. Lets just say to day went from guys say why are you playing pistol to i want the guy with the pistol on my team. overall i am very happy with this marker and i cant wait to get 6 more to add to my 6 clips i have now.

I had a bad moment today with my TPX1 I am still sour about it. Went to the top with my at-10 took out one opponet, pinned down the second and my teammate took him from the 9 then I went down into creek took out 1 more, now at-10 is outta mags. So I grab to my sidearm which would be the TPX, shoot out between my other teamate and these 2 opponets. I put the TPX dead on this point blank dead open shot and bink. The fricking ball goes and softly pats dude on his side, he turns and shoots, I shoot back and we both are out. The dude runs around screaming :yayaya I finally got you after 3 weeks!" lol... My problem is if my TPX has been sitting around the first shot comes out weak sauce. What could be causing this? thanks in advance!

I agree on the paint, bad paint= no fun. Soft paint sometimes literally won't even feed in the mags. Trying out things like loading seven and such, but with fresh paint of the same brand I can shoot all bay without a break. I've had zero pierce pin troubles, but anyone who's ever had a lever changer knows 12grams vary enough to screw up your whole day. I'm lucky that my field sells Leland brand 12ies, they don't vary more than a few mm's and work without a hitch. If someone is having this trouble, I'd be interested to know if a tiny square of electrical or duct tape on the inside of the plug was enough to fix it. It might be a case where they need to make the plug a little bit longer. If you over compress a long one, you could crush the pierce pin section backwards though. I also wish for a better ambidextrous mag release, but I understand the room constraints with the mag in the grip. VM-onster, it sure sounds like a slow leak some where. Rob

Efficiency- Two magazines per 12ie isn't much in my opinion. 2. 12ie cap- Pain in the to get off even with a mostly empty 12 gram. Probably tried to make it so you don't use that as ammo.3. Balance- Way too top heavy. 4. Magazines- Never, EVER, take one apart. 5. Breech- It chops more paint than the bolt. 6. Barrel- It's about as smooth as 10 grit sandpaper. Good 1. Scares people when you throw it 2. Looks awesome with an 8 inch unported A5 barrel ![]() 3. Ejecto magazines that can conveniently land in your pocket |

Twice now I've seen players empty a magazine, drop the empty magazine, insert a full magazine and the top two balls break. Also, this past weekend, I had a player use their TPX and it sounded like a dog's chew toy. It squeaked twice with each shot, literally just like a chew toy. It made me smile. (I consider this a positive attribute of the TPX!) |

It's a great design that just needs some tweaking. I wish I had that capability, but I don't really at the moment. I have a feeling that a tight barrel will increase efficiency greatly, along with a somewhat lighter bolt return spring. Still, I had a blast shooting folks with mine, and got over nearly all of the issues I had with it's ergonomics once I started using it. It really does play a little better than it holds, which seems a little unusual, I know. Still, I did trade my first one. I say first one because I'll be getting a replacement to modify and improve.

I didn't know where it was set to so I backed it out and turned it up slowly to get 270ish. | |

I just recieved mine last night and tried it out today. Thats a whole lot of fun . That was the first tippman I have ever fired in 21-22 years fo playing lol. I liked it.No its not the epitome of efficiency, but 24 shots of a 12 gram isn't bad at all. Remember its an entirely new marker, it does not have 20 years of developement behind it. The first 3 shots on mine had some liquid behind them. Just reducing that would improve the efficiency a fair bit. I used BE 12 grams from walmart. No problem piercing. I found with just farts left in the 12 gram the knob was hard to turn. I am going to make a new knob for it to make that a little easier. |
