That would be the driver plate. I have plastic split collets that I make for different sized barrels. then I can clamp down hard on the plastic with out marring the surface of the barrel.

Can you do Dye UL Backs? I have seen them done before and I have about 3 I would send out.

Also would you try a stock Axe / Mini barrel? I have one I don't care about if you would like to attempt it. I know stanchy will not do them.
The OD is parallel on most of the barrel but tapers outwards the last 1/3 towards the back. Seen Here

the one phantom barrel I tried gave me grief (not a cusomer barrel ) but it was already messed up but I took some measurements on the barrel and I am confident I can do them now

Id really really like to get mine bored out but very few will mess with them.

TJD, those Shaft barrels are very annoying. The issue is the taper. I think your setup will work fine, though.
