I can give one a try again if you want. I always stayed away from TPX barrels because I heard they had to be retreaded and stuff from other people who do freak boring but as it turns out they are actually not a problem. The bolt tips though look like they would need to be turned down though so they will function with the inserts.

Its not particularly difficult. The problem is I use the shank of the barrel to steady it during the boring operation that shank gets removed. This makes it potentially dangerous when I remove the reamer because the barrel can whip out of alignment.

I haven't read all the thread pages but are you able to bore titanium barrels? Also if there is enough room can you oring the ID?

I did 1. I would do it again but its going to cost you most likely more than whatever marker your putting it on.
