right now, this is a tentative plan but we need to start somewhere.

there is a days inn right off the 405 about a mile or two from the event.
i just chatted with rudz about this possible hotel location.

we would need to reserve several rooms, at least 3 maybe 4.
just like in virginia, i need a few guys to step up who will each reserve one room...
i will reserve a room, as well.

Windy City Open, Chicago IL - May 29th, 30th and 31st

Las Vegas World Championship, Las Vegas NV - October 8th, 9th, and 10th
Team Entry Fees
Jan 15th to Feb 14th - Pay by check or money order

Pump Open (5man) - $600.00
Feb 15th March 15th - Online Registration

Pump Open (5man) - $700.00
Last day to pay March 26th - Online Registration

Pump Open (5man) - $800.00

Early Bird Discounts: Take advantage of the NPPL Stimulus Package: Teams that pay for the full year upfront receive 10% off entry plus receive 10 free ID Cards for the year ($400.00 value) and 5 free pit passes per event ($200 value) for a total saving between $840.00 to $1800.00, depending on your divisional entry price. Must pay in full by January 31, 2010
Prizes

Prizes will be awarded by the number of teams in a division. Therefore divisions that are more competitive and have more teams will receive a larger prize package. A lot of thought went in to creating this new prize structure with a goal of rewarding the teams who battle through the larger divisions, while still providing teams an incentive to move up.

The prize amounts listed are an estimate of what to expect based on the same number of teams we had in Huntington Beach last year. Prize amounts this year will vary depending on the number of teams signed up in each division.

Pump Open FIVE MAN

15% of Pump Entries go to the Pump Prize Pool
1st Place 50% of prize pool ($945)
2nd Place 25% of prize pool ($475)
3rd Place 15% of prize pool ($285)
4th Place 10% of prize pool ($190)

I sent an e-mail to Frank Connell about the registration process.

In case anyone did not notice, the reg fee went from last year's $500 to now $600.

If we get the 30% off "coupon" that the scrubs won, the total reg costs for two teams is $1020.
I have to mail a check before mid-feb or the price goes up $100 for both teams.

freedom - raul said he wants to do HB. I told him again, that if he wants to play he has to make it to practice, thats the bottom line. he said he would try his best to make as many as he could.

the hotel at this point i don't care, i want to focus on prctice more than anything. i will ask a friend of mine who works at the airport if he has some pull for a discount or if he knows someone who can help us out. i checked last nite and airfare from newark to john wayne was just over 300 with the fees etc... it was listed at 290 without fees. i'm ready to buy anyone else?

I told freedom, d4m4don3 and shrub both drive pickups, not much people room, other than 2, but they can carry gear

So as long as we pack right, we should be fine with 1 large vehicle to carry people and the 2 trucks to carry gear
