That's quite nice of you to offer, thanks. I think it'd be kinda awkward and I was only half serious about that. But I'll definitely check with my guys to see if they're interested.

Edit: What's the team cap for this event?

I am thinking 25 teams at this point, but I am willing to work with that if you are coming all the way from Lake Placid

How many rounds would a less-than-good team get to play? My team is new to pumps, and I'd hate for them to have to pony up entry money to play one game and get eliminated. Are there a few rounds of eliminations? Basically it would be nice to lose 3 games before we went packin.

I was going to send you a PM, Fluff, but then I figured theres probably 50 or so people wanting to ask the same questions.

<---our team is in Maine, so its not far (2.5hr drive), but we would have to make a day of it.

the plan is to see how many teams enter. as of right now the first round is you will play every other team once, then eliminated teams get a pump only day. If this is too unwieldly, we will make it double elimination, but this is a last resort only. I think that if everybody cooperates, we can have every team play every other at least once. Preregistration will be open soon. But you can also email me at Gravityleaguepaintball@gmail.com

Thumbs up

So with 9 teams we'd play at least 3 games. Sweet. Thanks Fluff!

Inquiring with my team as we speak...

Hey worst case you can do what we did last time we got eliminated early.Just switch over and play with the walk on groups. There is usually a pretty good turnout for walkons.Plan to make a day out of it and have fun!

If anyone needs a random 3rd, and my shoulder heals by then (which it really, really should), I'd love to give this a whirl.

I'm a bit confused as to how the preliminary games work. Is it a point system like points for flag pull, hang, eliminations, survivors? Or is it like a 1 point for winning the game, 0 for losing. Certain amount of the top whatever teams goes onto the semi finals or?

It is going to be a point system. Points for first pull, hang, elimination, etc. I have a pdf with the rules that I will try to make available by early next week, but I am on vacation and posting from my phone
