"Thank you for your interest in a pump division at the US Paintball League DC Challenge August 30, 2009 at PEVS Paintball Park. I have now added this division and your team can register at American Paintball Players Association - Paintball's #1 Event Registration System after clicking on "DC Challenge". All the best, Camille Lemanski US Paintball League www.uspaintballleague.com" We just received this today via email. This is a one day event, on Sunday August 30th, 2009. Link found here: Pump Information! - PbNation Come on fellow pump teams, lets get a better turn out here than last years NPPL Buffalo event. Register as soon as possible and don't procrastinate and wait until the last week to pay entry fees if you can help it. Don't pass up this opportunity to not only participate in a 5-man pump event, but a National one at that. The better the turnout, the greater the chance of seeing more local pump events popping up around us. There may not be prizes, but the national exposure this will bring to your team will help more than any prize would. Lets help bring pump tournaments back to the east coast. I would like to see more pump tourneys. I have to see what my team is doing in August. but is sounds like a great time. |
Indeed... well if you know of any other pump teams, please spread the word. If you guys would be able to go, make sure you contact the USPL. Hopefully this isn't against PBNation regulations or whatever, but I just posted in 3 different state forums with the same post. (NY, NE, and Maryland/DC.) I wanna post in all of the east coast stuff, but I'm afraid I'll get hit with spamming or something like that lol. |
I'll use the contact link now. I suspect RC could field two teams. EDIT: Done |

i may be able to get a team together as long as it dosent conflict with our other scheduled events. And the cost isnt outrageous. |
Thanks for the help guys, maybe we can bring back the pump division for DC. Well I don't know what you can normally get a case of paint for at a national event, but I assume its in the $30-$50 area a case if you don't have connections. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't use more than 4 cases even if we were to make it all the way to finals. DC is a 10hr drive from Lake Placid, NY... and with booking one hotel night I would have my guys bring $300 for worst case scenario kind of deal. This is what I figured: + $500 entry + $300 gas + $200 hotel + $200 paint + $250 food =$1450/5 would be $290 per person. |

If it's $500 entry I just got really excited... |
US Paintball League Click on "See Team List and Pay Entry Fees." Look at Sunday Open 5-Man pump. (one day event, on Sunday) It was $500 for Huntington Beach, now $500 for SC Village, should be $500 for the DC event. |
