Feelers - Winter Gravity League Event or Pump day

Inside with reballs at Nashua's own New Hampshire Indoor Paintball

Looking at $150 a team per usual.

Please select the dates that would work best for you out of the options.

If you have any other questions or opinions please let me know.

Do it at Boston Paintball and I think you may get a better turn out. I don't have my on call schedule for the new year yet so I can't say I'd be there on any given day. But I want to play. At the same time I have no interest in re-balls. But hey, my opinion and a dollar will buy you a bag of chips. I am planning on trying to set up some indoor winter play anyway. So this could be a great option especially if it's the only game in town! Feyd..............

The problem with Boston is the numbers that you need to produce to get the space. NHIP said we are good no matter the numbers. I've never used reballs for anything outside of efficiency tests so I can't complain too much about them yet.

I'm not against doing it at Boston, but Fluff is a better person to make that happen as he has a relationship with those guys already, they don't know me from a whole in the wall.

I'm pretty sure the Fluffenator is pretty tight with those guys. If any one could put that together I'm sure he could! I think that could get a pretty good turn out as well. I mean theres nothing going on that time of year and we usually play that month at BPB anyways. Plus after the Gravity event you can still play. As long as I'm not on call that weekend I'm there. Why not both venues? This could be a good opportunity to involve new players. Unlike outdoors, where there are tons of options, winter play is limited. I think we have a good chance to involve some field regulars into the gravity league scene. I am not thrilled about playing with reballs for a tournament setting, but will support the event.

I'll wait for Fluff to weight in on Boston, Until then I'm going to go ahead with this. I don't see why we couldn't do one in Jan and Feb or Feb and March

As for the reballs thing, Not much I can do about it, I guess the best I can say about it is the up side is that it's not going to stain anything.

Please remember to vote on a date. We can go with it with or without a event at Boston Paintball, we just don't want to put them on top of each other.

So I've been a little slow in the head this week.

I get the problem with a tournament using reballs now

What about just a pump day?

I will weigh in briefly. I have no issues with reballs, but hese would be the concessions; all hits are out. No picking up balls or will need to clean up between every few rounds. Plus side, easier clean up and be supporting a great organization.
As far as BPS, no. Last time I ended up paying out of pocket to run it due to low turnout. They will be running regular pump days and we can do a day there any time. They have a great pump series with the NEPL and I have great respect for Anthony and the entire BPS organization, so I will not compete. That would be a jerk move.
This midwinter event is Nish's idea and project. I will give him my public and private input and full support.

I'm conflicted about reballs for a tournament but it's right near me and we'll probably be doing some team stuff at NHIP anyway... So I'm gonna say I'll be there for whatever.

Reballs aren't stock-class, spring feed, rotor, anything but tiny bore friendly just as a heads up for anyone so inclined. Most of us that played reball last year have special gear just for it.
