im not really "worried" about prizes. i play because its a good time. but it might actually get some people to enter if the were getting something. even if its a case of paint for the next event or discount entry to the indoor or something like that. im not asking for new T2s or anything.... medals and tropys are cool, i like my big shiny cup from last year but actual prizes might get more teams to enter, espically if they are driving 4+ hours in some cases....

I like that quote! It really hits the home of the issue we've all been dealing with the past three years or so - we are rebuilding. I think most of the issues voiced so far, minus prizes, have been just general NEPL issues. I've had some really long waits while playing 7 man, they always only have those two chronographs, staging can get tight especially when people start getting "creative" with their assigned space. Hopefully we can find something that works for everyone.

PS, any fun tournaments coming up at Cousins, pump or otherwise? (Assuming you're from the New York one, not the Virginia one).

Im working on Organizing a pump day once a month at one of our fields. Ive offered our New windsor location which borders conn for gravity league. Alot of our upper management is down without community. We call Saturdays at our field "slow gun saturdays" and we all eithher shoot pumps or cockers.

On a more relevant note tho.....Im sure most of this will get panned out at the league meeting coming up.

Got some details. There are a few maybes that I will not post until they are definite.
Pump will remain 3 man. BPS would like to eventually do 5man, but we need to step it up with attendance (my words, not theirs). Event pricing will be as follows; Event 1-4 will be $150 per team. Event 5 (B.ON.E.) will be $195. It will be a standalone event and open to all. Franchise opportunities will be open for pump teams. You pay for the full season up front and get quite a few discounts. Pump franchise is $599 and must be paid before the first event registration deadline. You essentially get the fifth event free.
Franchise teams also get $10 off for tournament level paint at events, save $5 per player at team practices, rotation discounts, $10 discount for open play, and a minimum of 10% off on most pro shop purchases.
This covers what we get without effort on our part. Now onto the next level. With 8 teams registered, 1st place team gets free entry next event and 3 cases of event paint. and second place gets free entry.
BPS is also possibly instituting awards for most improved teams and sportsmanship.
any other questions?

Fluff, do you know how the free entry for first place would work if a 'franchise' team wins?

That's why i always go. Not everybody can make stuff. Things come up. Without representation, fields think we are uninterested, when the reality is we are just busy.
