Legal colors for PSP/NPPL?

So we're thinking about playing in the pump division sometime next year, but I was wondering about color rules. We just got our jerseys done, and I remember the sheet from Raza said something about it not being legel for PSP/NPPL. But I don't see anything that would disqualify us? Pretty sure it's yellow and orange that are protected colors right?

Best pic I have off hand of the jerseys:

You can't have yellow that is it.

Crazy idea, maybe ask Raza why they said that?

No clue...but those are some pretty sweet jerseys.

PSP is orange.

i've had 2 teammates this season have to ducttape over their cleats and lanyard

i know for a fact our psp affliliate is orange, he had to duct tape his cleats and it was monsooning and muddy 2 weeks ago.... no traction haha

NPPL is yellow

a buddy bought raza gloves, they have this highlighter yellow/light gold accents on them
the ref tried to bring up a fuss about it, but as long as the manufacturer doesnt call it "yellow" your fine

we wore valken in 2011, and their crusade or redemption pants (dont remember which) have dark/dust gold accents on them, and we had to verify they were ok, and the league said, "what color does the manufacturer call them?"

your jerseys look fine, unless you have "something that can be mistaken for a paintball break" i dont see any splatter effects
i would tell the guy on the far right to lose the orange stickers on his hopper.....

PSP changed 3 maybe 4 years ago from orange to yellow.

9.7.3. The color yellow is prohibited on any players equipment or clothing, except that a player's jersey, pants, gloves or shoes may have yellow, so long as no part of the yellow coloring is more than 0.25 cm from some other color, and no more than 10% of any 5cm by 5cm square on clothing or item is yellow.

Some league still uses orange. Thus I would stay away from both of those colors. In fact GFOA was Orange until this past year.

Wow, those poor PSP refs must have an out of date rule book.

PSP rule...
9.7.3.1. For reference purposes, 'yellow' is any color similar to Pantone colors 101, 102, 107, 108, 109, 116, 3945, 3955, 3965, and 803, although any head judge may prohibit any equipment they believe interferes with the judges' ability to officiate effectively."

NPPL rule...
5.01 Protected Color. Players’ uniforms may not contain the color yellow, which is reserved as the “Protected Color” for paint.

Thanks guys, I'm a bit relieved we're not gonna have to bust out the old jerseys. I think my team would revolt haha.

Tony Ocoro over at Raza, he's the man. You can't see it here but the print in the middle is actually the tops of diamonds.

Same here. The guy who answered the phone was very rude and didn't want to send me any information about what I was asking. I ended up going with Xternal Sports.

Well, that settles it then; I can't play PSP 'cause I like my yellow E-Vents too much. :p
