| Getting excited yet? Back in home after a fairly relaxing and beautiful vacation... many thanks to Al for minding the bunker and cleaning up after the feline security contingent... and I have been dreaming about next weekend the whole time! I have not played any paintball at all since maybe as far back as June and I have the itch REAL "bad"! Craig Palmer will be rolling in to town on Friday AM as early as I can get his jet-laggin' azz awake and ready to ride north. This will be his first trip to EMR and I am sure he will love the carnage of his first Castle Conquest! No doubt, he, like the rest of us defenders, will carry home more than a few black, blue and purple reminders of his hour(s) in the paint storm. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Swanktown with Al and Evan and, hopefully we will awaken on game day smarter than when we lost consciousness the night before... we will certainly be enjoying some of the finest knowledge juice, courtesy of our own Beer Snob to the Stars, Al. Planning on a "Nasty" beginning, followed by a "Blazing" finish in the walls (assuming the attackers have the necessary stones...  )I CANNOT WAIT TO FEEL THE INCH DEEP PAIN! See y'all on the row... look for the stripey bunkhouse, or just cup your hand to your ear and listen for the donkey hacking... follow your nose... it always knows. I sure hope I can get some sleep this week... (Yeah, I know there is already a Castle thread, but my enthusiasm is SO VAST that it requires it's own roomy thread in which to strut and preen.  D.

| We've missed you, Drum. Hope you had a great vacation. I'm staying at the Ritz as well. Can't freakin' wait! After PPIV I made sure to relax in the pool for about an hour. Maybe it's all in my head, but I think that it really made a difference in preventing sore muscles over the next few days. The hotel was full but I was the only one in the pool and it looked like it had been hardly used all day. Bring your trunks and tell CP as well. |
