Anyone up for a SHAG Private Game?

Hi,

Back in Nov of 2005, I had a private game down at my uncle's in Jackson NJ. For those who have been to Top Gun, my uncle is about 10 minutes from there. We had about 12 people including yours truely playing in the game. I wanted to have a game in 06 but a house and wedding got into the way. So I am doing an informal inquiry to see who wants to possibly get another game together.

Pretty much how it happened last time.

Price: $15-20 covers food, drink, Co2 fills
Paint: BYOP
People: 15-25 person must know me and can bring 2 guests
Field Speed: 280 max
Format: Elimination mainly Attack and defend. Any variation you want to play. If you want a 5 man speedball field in the field, fine.

As for gun format, pump and pistol. However, if there are a lot of people going, I am thinking limited paint semi auto. hopper ball. I got 4 cases of paint myself that should be dispensed of.

Right now, I want to get an idea how many want to do this game again. I know many liked the game when we did it the last time.

So let me know what date range is good. which weekend day is good. How many they may bring. I would like to get an idea so I can speak with my uncle and aunt for the planning. After all it is their property

Dates in mind...

Oct 13-14
20-21
27-28

Nov 3-4

Which date and day that would work for you. I do not believe we would go into December plus I am booked from Nov 10 on thru the holidays.

I'd be up for it, so long as it's not the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'd also vote for a Saturday game rather than Sunday. Also, Saturday, December 8th (should it go that late in the year) is out as well.

I'd also prefer it to stick with pump or semi-auto pistol.

I want to go back to your uncles and play agian.Saturdays work better.Any of those dates work.Great place to play.

and keep the format pump/pistol/springfeed.

I would love to make it. The only weekend that is a possiblility is the 27th for me. Otherwise booked, unless something changes.

Hi,

Thanks for all the feedback on the game so far. I spoke with a few friends who want to go to the game as well. I am thinking that a game will probably take place on Saturday, October 27th.

October 27th cause there is time to get things set up. Gives people time to make arrangements for that day (looking at freedom

) Saturday cause it is getting good feedback. I personally like Saturday cause Sunday is a good recovery day. Funny how I went from Saturday working the field to sunday playing. Now it is screw playing on Sunday, Saturday is the day to play. Plus there is less traffic on Saturdays travel wise for me. Rain date would probably be the following Saturday.

So I am still waiting to see if the Allentown contingent is coming out for this one. It's a fun day Drum, Al, Whiskers, Chappy, Kindred (eh you're from the general area per say)

Alright keep them coming in.

Bah! That's the emr halloween game, and I swore I'd make all the emr events this year!! I'm interested, though. I'll have to see where the cards are gonna fall.

Well I'll be down in Jersey for training the 23-26th.So if someone doesn't mind putting me up for Friday night I could make it for a Saturday game on the 27th.
