FOX 4 Paintball APOCALYPSE Date: October 20th Time: All Day Game Type: Scenario Description: It’s 1969 and the Viet Cong are moving vast amounts of supplies along the Ho Chi Minh trail to their forces in the south. In an attempt to stem the flow, small groups of U.S. Rangers are operating along the Ho Chi Minh trail and into Laos (officially, of course, they were never there). Laotian Warlords with the support of the Pathet Lao were more than happy to help whoever was willing to pay. Add to this mix the CIA and KGB and you have the recipe for APOCALYPSE

| That is SOOO up my alley. Of course, I'd want to lead a 5 man lrrp team dropped in by Huey the night before, spot the NVA and VC and call in spooky before being extracted. I doubt that's part of the scenario... |

| How many of these scenarios are window dressing for just having two teams go after each other just like any other game? I mean, if I were to do a scenario like this I'd be in period garb not JT/DYE whatever motocross looking clothing. I don't mean to disparage anyone but I wonder how hard everyone tries to really role play in these things. It is BYOP which is nice. Maybe... |

| If you want we could try and take things to new levels, but as far as scenario goes then, do you take it so far to shoot mocked up markers and such? Maybe hurcs can pass as m-14s at least.......... I have us woodland, tiger, brit DPM, flectarn, digy. for wwii scenarios, Drum and I have done the tshirt/jeans like early Navy and Marines back then.

| Yeah, I wouldn't go out and buy a rap4 m-16 or whatever just for scenario play. If I were planning such an event I'd have platoons with two or three electros (as m-60 gunners), a sniper or two (good pump guns) everyone else typical semi. Maybe officers carry pump pistols. I'm not sure how I'd arm the SF lead Montagnard team... |
