Huge mech 10 man event at paintball Atlanta

I just hadn't seen much talk of this here but wanted to draw attention to it.

10 man traditional format tournament on hyperball AND a woods field just happened. I know many here love autocockers and mags, so this was a great opportunity to out them to good use in fierce competition, just like the old days.

Pictures are up on the warpig.com facebook page! Yes! Warpig!

I played for GLK. I wish it had been a split division event. On a good day we would have been a D3 team and we ended up playing 4 of the top 8 teams, and we only played 6 games.

aside from playing it was a blast meeting everyone and hanging out.

Ouch. Tough draw. I like the old school play everyone prelims. Always was the most fun back in the day. (6 game prelims you would play; 2 pro, 2 am, 2 nov teams) 2-3 divisions with a 4 team final for each division would be sweet.

I kinda like the idea that I could be lining up against a team with current pro players on the field, to be honest.

Strongly agree there should be more prelim matches, but they'll need another crew of refs to run both fields for that. Hopefully the next one is even better.

Ya thatís what we thought too. However we thought the rof cap would have been enough to level the playing field a lot. It wasnít. The experience levels were way off. It was cool running into people though. Just wish we still got that experience of being with the pros but being able to play competitively.

Would have really loved to see the photos... but man that site needs an overhaul. It's so early-2000 looking. Could you post a direct link, my search skills didn't outlast my patience.
