June 1st AG Paintball Woodsball Tournament

A place to discuss when the day is over...

Just about to head out the door... I'll grab my camera too. Unless something amazing happens, we're going to show up a man down. Should prove to be interesting.

Pictures and Report when it's all over.

Ok.. I have had a few moments to catch up with my little girl, and made her dinner. So here's how the day went:

Three teams showed up, so we knew this would be a good day as we were guaranteed a placement

We showed up with a man down. We were ready to play a 5 man game with only 4 people. Carter, Paul (C5TEK), Mark (FLUFF), Luke (XXFETTXX)... Anyhow...

We all show up, and end up recruiting Jim. Another seasoned player that was willing to play with us. So now we had a 5 man team.

We played against the New Hampshire Henchmen, and another team called the Snowmen. Both were good teams with some really stand up people that I would be happy to play with anytime in the future.

Our first two games (one against each opponent) we got the flag hang each time and left with full points. A handsome feat for us as we came to this event thinking we were going to be a man down, and just happy to leave with our hats.

We then switch sides and replayed each other, this time the other teams were really getting into their groove and proved to be excellent opponents. We stalemated with the Henchmen the next game with player for player eliminations, but it was Paul (C5TEK) that put us over the top with a DOWN THE MIDDLE rush to get the flag for a flag pull and all the points that went with it. What a move! And this is not on a little speed ball field, this is a large woods ball field, twice the size we originally thought it was going to be.

Let it be known, that during that flag rush game... Fluff ran out of air in the first 30 seconds (man down) and C5TEK was taking pictures in the middle of the game with his camera. Hey.. No one said we were there to take this tournament seriously... We were there to have fun!

The finals came down, and it was High Defiance vs. NH Henchmen. For this we played two games on a village / speedball type course. It was fast paced... Lots of angles... Wow.

We played two games, back to back switching sides to keep it fair. The team with the most points won. HD ended up taking the finals with full points. Excellent end to a fantastic day.

I would like to thank Home - AG Paintball - NH, New Hampshire Paintball for putting on the event. They are definitely going to be a premier woodsball tournament destination. With fields and refs like that, you just can't beat it.

Lots of pictures on Paul's camera... Can't wait to see them get posted!
