Have a Tribal... now what?

I picked up a Tribal off a friend, and it's in rough shape. It's being held together with a zip-tie

(and apparently the wiring harness is shot).

I don't know much about Tribals (what better way to learn, than with one that's already broken? At least I can't break it more [I hope

]).

Can anyone point me in the direction of good resources for fixing them up?

Be careful with Tribals, I hear you can spend a fortune on them in after market parts if you are not careful.

Post some pics up!

They're not terrible to work on for an older electro but the AOC can be a real pain to get dialed in without a guage. A few folks will still work on them but some are admittedly getting a bit rusty

. Definitely check out the TOG forum. I might have a few odds and ends around so if you need a bit of help or decide it's not the project for you, drop me a note.

I'd love to post pics, unfortunately, my hard drive died and I'm currently running my laptop off a 2 gb usb key. Once I've got this problem sorted out, I'll definitely post some though!

Is the TOG still up and running? Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of activity there and registration is closed

If I remember correctly, they were under frequent attack from bots. You may have to email an admin.

PM the Kaos that sold the Fluster higher in this thread, he's an admin for the TOG and can let you in. Unfortunately, the TOG is pretty hit or miss, as a lot of the old crew have either retired entirely from the sport, or moved away from the Tribals.
