Looking for info on Tribal Twisters

As said in the header. I'm interested in these and like the design similar to my twister-pump. Any info would be appreciated.

The TOG would be your best bet but most of those guys are around here as well. From my understanding, which is limited, the only difference between the twisters and the other Tribals is the milling.

Yep, TOG is where you can find the majority of the Tribal gurus. Some are around here as well though. Not sure what kind of info you're looking for.. maybe you could be more specific?

For general info... Most Tribals are basically the same design and the different Tribal guns were mainly milling variations. There were updates / variations in the eletronics and other things but it's probably more info that you're looking for. So a Twister was basically just a Tribal milled a certain way. I don't know offhand how many Twisters were made but the total estimate for all Tribals made is around 3000.... I'd have to guess somewhere in the 300 range. So if you do manage to find one in good shape, do realize that the manufacturer is long gone and while a few folks still have parts and upgrades they are definently getting scarce.

/end random info

The differences in electronics existed between the Mephisto (which was the basic black model) and everything else - Twister, BBT, Fluster and Addicted (Addicted being the rarest, with only 100 made, IIRC).

Mephistos had simpler electronics (better, I felt - getting that back board into place on the other models was always a little tricky), as they had a single battery status LED, while the others had 3 as well as a recharging jack. I think the non-Mephisto boards also had 'turbo' mode.

Other than that, they were mechanically the same.

I have no idea what I'm looking for. General info I guess. I was recently introduced briefly to them. I've always been a fan of bps twisters and saw these and now I'm intrigued.

You know one of the few Twisters I've seen for sale lately is actually for sale on here.
Dye Guns, Tribal, R3, Timmy for Sale

You can see the breakdown of a tribal in Shifty's post
General Tech help..............

And as stated TOG is the best resource.
