well my 2.2 mephy is coming out and getting redone
i need to send it in and have eyes drilled for it first.
and while its there get hte internals polished and a magnetic trigger put in
then when it gets back it is first run morlock time
then the aoc is going bye bye along with the stock hpr.
and then we will see what happens after that. i am kind of likeing the half block of shiftys.

also i have owned a few bbts, a twister, and an addicted and sold them because i needed money back about 5 years ago.
jt

ps i will post along the journey

Stumbling across the thread.. gotta get in on this!

As you can also see the link in my sig, I love this thing.

Have not aired it up yet, plenty of time put in by both WarpedMephisto and ~Kaos~ of TOG. No small thanks to Edwin for his custom parts..

I'll be airing it up when the tank comes back from hydro with it's new (to me) Macdev Conquest.

The guy behind Toxic Toys is a frenchman by the name of Francois Louvette. He has been in and out of the paintball industry with a large number of companies over the years (Diamond Labs, Toxic Toys, Mako, 3A, just to name a few), pretty much running the company just long enough to make a tidy profit and then bail out of it before the bills from his manufacturers hit the company's bank accounts.

Head on over to the Tribal Owner's Group (linky in sig) and you should be able to find a couple of Tribals up for sale, as well as linkage for all the aftermarket bits that will make a Tribal reliable (HPR, LPR, bolt, feedneck, and boards tend to be the most popular upgrades). Tribals are good electros because the design is so widely used (stacked tube, open bolt, ram-opened poppet vavle, single solenoid) that they're easy to understand and work on. Admittedly, the milling was very inconsistent as was the annodizing, but you really have to beat the pizzle out of these markers before they break. There's plenty of extra "meat" on the bodies to allow people to do a lot of sculpting, and the annodizing is such that you can easily have it stripped off and replaced. The Tribals are very affordable these days, as you'll never have to pay over $200 (except for the actually rare Flusters and Addicteds), even the upgraded ones, and rarely see them go for much beyond $125-150.

Good luck in finding your own!
