I was at fall castle a couple of years ago, was the museum there at that time?
I really don't remember seeing it.
I was in the Engler place, that is until I was yelled at for touching the .50 out front. aha
Possibly now the museum?

*laughs* I went in the Engler store-front. Nope, that's not the museum! If I remember the map right, the museum is part of a different building, across the road from Engler, closer to the lake.

You can't miss it.

We painted it yellow about 6 years ago!

That explains it, we hit the road too soon.

I walked around the museum in awe at pumpers a couple of days ago.

FWIW, I left a Brass Eagle Talon Ghost (smoke clear plastic, LNIB) in the bunkhouse with a tag "FOR MUSEUM".

If anyone's around and can put it in with the other Brass Eagle gear, much obliged.

Yep! The one in the museum already is a grey version with the yellow "Talon" script lettering on the side.

I figured "one of every version" is appropriate in the museum.

I was thinking we should make a board showing the various forms of internals. Especially the Nelson and Sheridan pump actions; and various blowback, auto-cocking, and other forms of mechanical semi.

Then maybe a display of some electronic stuff like Angel, Rainmaker, spool valves...

Actually, a short video display would be pretty cool for that. I'd be willing to donate an old computer if someone wanted to make/display a series of videos and a simple front-end program for people to click on them.

Even cooler--maybe we could make it like a kiosk so people could access the "virtual museum" from one of the other buildings when the actual museum is closed. Like some exhibit videos, pictures of stuff in the museum, the VintageRex archives, and digitized versions of the Paintball Dave/AGD/Air Power/Tagline/etc videos?

In other news, I noticed there was no VMX in the VM display and corrected that. Likewise, a NIB Rainmaker and an eM98 kit (because I feel those two items are significant to the time when electronic markers started to make the largest impact into the paintball scene).
