Small Part

It's a big project that likely would never be done but I was on the forum this morning and couldn't help but realize that there are lots of little "What the hell is this" moments when looking at old paintball stuff. Not just with guns. Some of this stuff is so obscure to ever know the story you have to find someone that was there. Some of the people that were there are still on MCB

I've had a "Short Change" for years and knew nothing about it except that the Wild Geese made them. I've collected the following from Smiley and The Shootist about them, maybe it could go in a MISC. spot or the 007 page.

'Short-Change', designed and manufactured by the late Jim Anderson of the New Hampshire Wild Geese.
It was this gadget which made the difference back in '87.

The threaded body is brass, the plunger appears to be hardened steel with a rubber tip, the lever is plated stamped steel. The roll pins are blued steel. The plunger travel is .187" @ 180 degrees of lever movement.

And lastly on a gun

Nice! Perhaps ApoC_101, TyMcneer or Have Blue would be willing to duplicate these.

Funny... Before I went to constant air, I had one of these exact units... Second or third hand, of course.

It can be replicated... Anything can be replicated.

I am currently "full up" on projects, so I will not be the one doing so, assuming the GMP is interested in that course of action.

If the project is still hanging out there in a couple of weeks, I will have time in my schedule.

I have one already and am committing all my "play money" to the Leprechaun Project right now so I couldn't be counted on to buy one at this time.

Thanks Smiley. Saving information on these is really what this thread is about.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Have to keep my eye out for one of these. I saw one on e-bay not that long ago, but it went for more than I wanted to spend on it.
