Anyone ever attempt a Pump'd VM??

Random discussion got me thinking, I've never heard of anyone attempting to pump a VM. Am I right or just haven't ran into someone that has?

I have had thoughts about this. The first thing you will want to do is modify the valve . . . make it so it vents as little gas back at the bolt. Fortunately this is easy as there is an insert that screws into the valve for channeling said back blast of gas - make a new one.

Ditching the bolt o-ring might be a good idea also

then it is a matter of figuring out how to recock it. My thought was maybe replacing the front ASA with a rod for the pump, which would have an arm that would go back to bear against the cocking knob/safety. You could also mod the hammer so that you have it truly ambidextrous and have a bolt on each side of it. Make the pump spring return.

needless to say the throw would be pretty significant compared to other pumpguns out there.
