Hey there guys, I was wondering if anyone knew about this nock off VM-68 that was being made in China? I actually contacted the manufacture to obtain information for part purposes so to check their quality but it was no longer being made. Other than the muzzle break, grip and smaller body, it looks pretty convincing. I’ve attached the website of the manufacture but the VM-68 (they call it S-2) but it is no longer listed. They make a couple of other markers. I also found the Tippmann X7. The VM nock off can only be found in the link I’ve attached. Once again, the question is quality….. Paintball Guns - S-2, China Paintball Guns - S-2 products- China Paintball Guns - S-2 Manufacturer, supplier |

Didn't the same company also make a double barrel marker, that's supposed to be of real poor quality?

As a VM fan I have heard of these Chinese copies. That is I've heard bad things, poor quality ect. To be honest I have never seen or fired one but I have a hard time believing that a Chinese copy of an original would ever be as good. And the S-4 I understand is even worse. Needless to say at the right price I would buy one. just to have one. (Same as with the Chek PGP copy)

I had a ZGP . . . and I found its quality to be pretty damn good in comparison to a PGP but then Czech firearms are also better made than chicom ones LOL *ends semantic threadjack*

![]() To PWPaintball (To get back on to the OPs subject) How do you find the quality of the Chinese S-2 com-paired to the VM? I would just be wary of buying anything from out of country from a website that describes themselves in a manner like this.... " Qian Wei Paintball Support Co., China Guang Dong Jiang Men Qian Wei paintball support Co. is the only in China that produce and support paintball gun and affiliated products such as paintball, mask, vase, safe, etc. ![]() To push ahead with paintball sports, my company organized some nationwide paintball game without a break of. And my company was built the China Qian Wei paintball sodality yet. It takes charge of organizing activity on the same line of work that experience exchanged and scholasticism proseminar etc. for bring the paintball Sports to normalization. ![]() In order to keep pace with paintball sports' development, my company ever and again develop. Some new products so as to cater for market's requirement. At the same time we also welcome OEM. Welcome anyone to inquiry. " Waaa...??

I shot Daves S4 and it sure had a weird feeling to it when it fired.

Import Paintball was selling those back 10 years ago. As far as I know, they were the only importer selling the "S series" guns, like the S-2 and S-4. Import Paintball went out of business when they were flooded with complaints about the S-4. The S-2, however, was pretty cheap. Brand new it was around $75? Not bad considering the original PMI-3 sold for about $400! When RAP4 went into business importing from the same company, they STRICKLY only imported the "M-series". They refuse any and all requests to import the S-series guns, since they are all blatant trademark violations. And as they are no longer made, it seems a moot point.
