Hey I am thinking about switching from CO2 to compressed air for my vm. I do have a 6 stage expansion chamber on the front asa and a bottom line. Think this would be a good change? I am hoping it will make it more accurate and my Sheridan equilizer really hates CO2 it fires ice! |

Increases accuracy by going to air, I doubt it. I've run both Air and Co2 on my vm with little difference in actual field performance. Although in cold weather, air was a much better choice for the obvious reasons. I found that I got better results by adding a quality reg to the VM.

What is your setup? I tested some VM parts on air and you need a 13/3000 to go under barrel. You only get about 75 shots like that. If you have a bottom line setup you may be better off.
