Broke the Magic Gun out from storage for some fun at a scenario game. Aired up and found a leak. Pulled it apart and the sure enough, the poppet was bad. Shame that, it had been in there for about 10 years. I pulled a new one out and put it in the valve, reassembled and took it to the game. At the chrono, I couldn't get more than 220. Didn't have the valve tool with me, so it went back in the car. At home, I pulled it apart and the poppet that I put in was found to be a lot shorter than the old one. It was a standard K/P series type without the piercing pin. Is anyone selling seal kits for VMs anymore? |

Ron-ASP has them for sale on Ebay for $20. Pricey, but they look like the real, longer VM ones. Someone else called "Straighttothetop" is selling them for $10. I do not see them on proteam, vm68, or vmempire though. However, Palmers lists the seal kit for $30. That includes the bolt orings, which may not be usefull if using an aftermarket bolt.
