Sorry for not being around. looking to pass the torch

Hello everyone
Sorry that I drop off the face of the earth this year. I have hit some bad times right now. It makes me happy to see things are going good in the Vm world with new Vmers an people still using the site and forum. So i was wondering if there is anyone out there that would like to take over the site? I would give it to you. Hell it's been your site for years anyway since you good Vmers have alway gaven the money to keep it going. (As always I thank you for that.) So if your good with web sites and have the time it is yours if you want it. There is some much good info on the site that I dont want to see lost like when the VMog died 9 to 10 years ago.
So let me know.
Oh an yes I am still using my Vm Hell even got out and play twice this year. People think its a pumpgun hahaha.

I'd be happy to transfer the info to our servers here, and keep the site running.

Thanks Tim for all the hard work.

I was pretty much in the place you are 10 years ago. I had VMfaq.com from 1996 to 2000 or so when I was in a rough place and just didn't care about VM's or even paintball! I know, crazy.....

I was THRILLED when I randomly typed in "vm68" into google around 2002'ish and saw your site, and all the hard work. You even redid my old VMfaq (with Chris) which I really appreciated.

Its a great thing that Carter has offered to at least store an archive here, so that the information is never lost! He might end up as the archive for all the old paintball gun sites...

I remember when you first found me. I was so excited you gave me some much good info it was great. An yes Carter is like your one stop shop for all old and new markers
Its funny tho. I looked at the site the other day (1st time in a long time)and saw that I have become what I hated. I think its in my bio. I said I started the site because I hated sites that didn't get updated admins that never emailed you back and sites just going a way with no warning. Dam I have 2 out of three so i better find a new champion for the Vm before I did have all three.

You can always go back to making action figure comics!

Oddly, reminds me of the "Lenny" character in the "Bobby Dukes" movie who likes to replay famous paintball games using He-Man action figures..... clearly the greatest movie ever!

Unfortunetly, my montneel.com site is ending up the same way. Not for lack of interest, but lack of time. I switched careers and no longer sit on a computer pretending to work for 40 hours a week. Now I work in sales, and on the road for 80! So I look at my site as more of an archive of information now. I know that once it goes down... that information will be lost for good. Nobody is really keeping track of those old early 90s guns.

All those late 90s blowback cheapos killed all the interesting in the high-quality early stuff. ie Spyders, Brass Eagles, and the pot metal Tippmanns, Pirahnas, etc. Sure, they were all good guns, but were made as cheaply as possible. You can buy blowbacks at Walmart for $39 these days. Hard for the new players to appreciate a PMI-3 that was -10- times more expensive just 20 years ago. Heck, most players today were born AFTER the original PMI3 came out... damn... I just feel old!

I can completely relate to this sentiment. I bought my PMI-3 - when they first came out - and still have it today...
