So yesterday I had the pleasure of being an OPFOR for the ROTC again. It was 50 F, rain, and windy. I've been playing around with creating a cold weather VM for about a year now. Here are the pics LOL : These are the MS1s and 2s doing bounding manuvers on the practice football field. Look at them kiss dirt. These guys were doing a better job than last weeks group. ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm waitng for the next wave - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The fun thing about working with the ROTC is that they do not chrono thier 98 customs. I had a hand help chrono with me and had four different cadets chrono their markers - 485 fps; 423 fps; 468fps; 405 fps. And their paint is ROCK HARD old stuff from 4 years ago. Getting shot at by these guys is like getting shot at for real. We really didn't want to get shot. If you look in some of those pictures, you'll see one of the feathers hanging from my mask had been just shot in half as I exchanged fire with one of the cadets. LOL I was wear a full H-Harness setup with a butt pouch on my right side with tools and a vm parts kits along with a jar of Hater sauce for the cold weather VM. On the last lane run-through, a cadet rushed our bunker and popped in on our left flank (they weren't aloud to do that and got a few shots off before getting his beat. He was less that 10ft away from me when one of his rounds hit me in the butt pack, pierced it where the round was stopped by my jar of Hater Sauce - ![]() That is what I found last evenning as I cleaned my gear. I LOVE training the military folk. LOL Smiley |

I love the cloud of vapor, it's so badass, like you are shooting a musket. I bet you were louder than the 98s too right?
