Everything has been tried...... read the sig. This is something far beyond my scope of reason, Im thinking maybe the out of wack toleranced bodies, combined with old orings, and aging parts are to blame. Like I said, I have 3 more bodies to try if that doesn't do it the path for these VMX's is going to be like the end of Indiana Jones..... stuffed in a box and put away to be forgotton.

Im going to try mine this weekend. If they don't work, I will be turning at least one of them into an electro-pneumatic VIMMY.

So what was the success rate for these bodies guys? I picked up a couple as well but haven't been home enough to install one. BOS, One thing Chauncy had us do with the Cooper-T kits was to drill a slightly larger hole in the valve guide of the valve body to allow more bypass gas, That and the liquid did the trick for them.

Not good. I guess we were warned that could be a possability. One reason I got 2 rather than just one. I hope they arn't both bad. However you are the master of projects, I kind of agree with the pump VMX idea. Do you have access to spare valve bodies where you could open the guide up a little for more gas? I guess you could turn one for yourself if it was that important.

The sparkle faded on the vmx's for me. I wanted one for years and now that I have some none if them work. It has been put back on the back burner.... which is the place where my projects go to die.

back burners are terrible, my spump and 98 pump both eye me up everytime i walk by.... i like the drilling the valve idea, why not make more airflow to blow it back? (im still fightin with a vm for a friend, this is gonna be the death of me lol)

The issue is the bodies... the parts all work in stock vm ones but chatter in vmx ones. Pump or electro ;pnuematic may be the fate coming.

why not make a new hammer from scratch to account for the larger tube?
