So, for a cup seal what would be the ideal material? I don't know what the Black Magic ones were made out of. Delrin?

if an Autococker exhaust valve works in a VM68, do you think the $15 kit from Palmers for the Autococker would work the same as the $30 kit from Palmers for VM68?

Question LP Cocker cupseals in a VM???

Evil Ed and fellow VMers,

I may have found a source for vm-68 cupseals (lord knows I need them). I know we have discussed that the autococker cupseals will work in a vm-68 or sheridan pump, but will the "low pressure" cupseals work in a high pressure marker (600 - 1200 psi)? I'm not sure what high pressure will do to a low pressure seal. This is what the factory tech said who is makes the seal:

The surface area has been enlarged for low pressure. I do not know if these will fit or work in a VM.

Will this work in VMs, especially rentals that get pounded twice weekly?

I'd like to say that it shouldn't matter since the sealing face is the same, but I'm not talking from experience.

I need to be sure. I'm about to purchase 500+ of these. I have a huge family of vms to feed.
