Vm 68 Pro comp: getting it to work.

Alright so i cleaned up my pro comp.

I only have old co2 that came in a trade to work with for now.

So aired it up. No leaks even with the hammer o ring being one i grabbed from a drawer. Fired once fine woohoo. Then a second time. Fine. Then the 3rd went rapid fire. Yanked the tank off quick. Checked the hammer o ring. Seemed stretched. Any way. Just getting those 2 shots were pretty cool.

So now i have to find what o ring should fit.

If someone knows the dimensions of the stock vm68 hammer slot. Let me know.
Hoping i can use same the o ring.

Also was able to make a valve tool out of an 8" bolt, drilling a hole at the tip so it doesnt bother the cup seal.

Will post pics later.

I don't think the stock hammer o-ring will fit the Pro-Comp kit. I'm not entirely sure at this moment, but unless I'm misremembering, I seem to recall the Pro-Comp's o-ring as being thicker. The stock hammer has a rather thin urethane o-ring.

I will go and compare my stock hammer to that of my Pro-Comp later and report back.

Looking forward to seeing the pics!

Here you can see. I didn't have any calipers on hand, but I'd estimate that the Pro-Comp o-ring is 1/8" thick and made of rubber, whereas the stock o-ring is a 1/16" thick urethane seal.
