So the main option I am looking at is adding a button safety under the sear like HP said, just waiting for my new trigger assembly to get here so I can get a better look (and so i have a back up if I screw up lol)
What I was refering to was half-backing the body (like halfblocking a cocker) only using a rear-cocker rather than a top-cocker. Then you could throw a tail on the cocking rod, and mill a slot for it on the body.

If your still going to have the main bolt in the back off the gun then I would take the the part you are going to pull out to cock the gun and put knochs so you pull it back and turn it into the knocks witch would lock the gun cocked

hmm

That would work, just have to check to see how much material and such was available for the notches, don't want to weaken it too much, (planning on making this out of black polycarbonate)

ok

Did the pro-comp have the knob going through a bushing in the back or did the knob go right in by itself?

THANKS

I answered my own question about the bushing thing, I looked at the picks of the pro-comp v3 on vmempire again and realized there was only the single piece that slid in the back. thanks everyone for the help and ideas, and for the amusing posts..lol.

No I really sink at spelling. I need firefox to tell me what I misspell all the time! I made the assumption once thinking something it was a misspelling and ordered something completely different. When I contacted the fabricator he said the original spelling was right and I was wrong. That was $50 wasted.
