I think the "closed" side of the non-ambidextrous body looks totally fascinating.

I suppose this was made after the safety also became the cocking handle, and the slot in the body was shorthened? I seem to remember pics of early PMI-3s with a separate cocking knob further forward on the bolt.

Palmers Pursuit sells a rebuild kit. $30. Get a new detent, orings, cupseal etc. Would be the easiest way to go. One other thing you can try is, dump a TON of oil into the asa and fire the gun so CO2 is dumping into it (pointed down). The guns can run with out a bolt oring if you use enough oil.
