| Rec Poster | Power feed I hear bad things about them. Why is that? and if I wanted to get one would I get the proteam one or the TASO one? I am contemplating trying for full auto on my VM, I know the odds are against feed the paint fast enough that is why I was looking at this. Any thoughts?

The VM68 design for the paintball loading is really good because the ball stack is almost on top of each other with out being a center feed. If you want full auto, I suggest a qloader to be 100% sure you are feeding as crazy fast as you can with constrain pressure. Even then a constaint pressure electronic loader might cut the mustard too. Now if you need to reorient a loader and your VM body does not allow that, then a power feed might be the thing you need. But it's not power feeding anything. |

An old 'Geddon or Apocalypse reg would be a good start. I had a tuneable circuit on my Pneumatic assist VM that gave a nice, steady 10-12 BPS, And it truly was a thing to behold. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Southern Maine | The powerfeed does not make the gun feed any faster. The only purpose is to reduce the effect that any blowby gas has on the feedstack. The PTP VM powerfeed had a design flaw, since it did not align the paintballs at a 90degree angle, like the AGD version. So the paintballs would still bobble. Oddly, the PTP universal version did align them correctly. If you do have a blowby problem, you might just need to replace your bolt orings. A much better mod is to simply drill large holes into the feedblock, to help vent the gas. nick

| Rec Poster | ok I don't have o-rings on my upper bolt. I have the o-ringless delrin starfire. Okay so the powerfeed is pretty much un-needed ok good to know. I managed to find myself a Black rain reg/expansion chamber, so that will be here in a few days
