Another man law needs to be added:
Utilizing said Vm 68 as a club is not only acceptable, it is highly encouraged, in the event that the owner/operator runs out of propellent gas. This will be anounced by the ratcheting weeze of death, which is your signal to go into smashing mode. This is most highly approved when your Vm is used to smash an oponents girly gun to pieces. Targets of smashing time are usually wearing overly bright colorfull attire to anounce they are bearing said flimsy girly guns.

Having used the same VM for 14 years straight, I have managed to have just about every configuration I could manage. Sadly though this year a screw stripped out of the body and I just dont want to heli coil or retap it. So it is going on the wall as close to stock as I can restore it, and I am taking another body to build a new one. The only law I have probably violated is in admitting that my right arm and elbow are completely trashed after playing a day with it. That being said I love the weight, efficiency, accuracy and range of my beloved VM.

Sadly, I am the last of VM-68 wielders (with the many people I play with), at least as weilding one as the primary gun. I'm not saying that people don't own these anymore, but from what I've read and seen, the Vm-68 only comes out on special "for shits and giggles" occassions. It's a shame. You can really shoot far with a VM-68 and at the legal fps limit too.

Also, What was really sad was that I refurbished 20 Vm-68s and supplied a crew of 18 for the D-Day 2007 at Skirmish. This was mainly an inside joke between myself and another close friend...To HAVE a Team of "Conventionally" Tricked VM-68s and go and wreak havoc on everyone else. The sad part was that we were the only people with vm-68s there (or at least we could see). We had players walk up to us and say, "Wow! Is that a vm-68? I haven't seen one of those in years." I saw more tippmans and smartparts than anything else. Needless to say, I feel like an old vetran in a new war. Does that make sense? [/i]
You are not alone. My collection of VMs has eclipsed my Viking, DMs, and AngelG7 in PT by a factor of 10 to 1 for the last 3 years straight. Nothing gives me the pleasure of the chunk of a VM hammer pounding out the pain to my foes.

Excellent. I agree with all of those. How many extra points do I get for shooting my EXC68 w/20oz tank with one hand and striking the target??

Can I have a couple of extra man points for having 2 VMs (bone stock) and 2 68 Specials? (with a PGP clenched in my teeth)

Catchya on the Flip Side.....

Emerald Wolf -- The only manly way to run a remote on a VM is if it goes to a 20 pound tank on your back....

Ha! Make sure it stays with you, y'know, incase of that big emotional thing we all call a break-up occurs. I just got out of a 4 year relationship and my Ex has a rather nice Psycho Ballistics autococker and a Phantom that were gifts.

For relevence to the thread: This is making me want a VM-68 pretty bad, would a PGI Pro be close enough for the time being?

This is the biproduct of an unholy union of a VM68 design and a Spyder design. This places it down the family tree, but on the side where it's a distant creepy cousin.

Your priorities sir are obviously messed up and you require man law intervention. Now you think I'd tell you to get yourself the VM68 first and then your girlfriend an automag. Not the case. Get your girlfriend a VM68.

Which is better a gun with more gerth, heaft, length, and has some umph? Or a gun that's smaller, weighs less, and sounds like a humming bird fart? She might say, but it's not size, it's how you use it. That's a lie to make smaller guns feel better.

If the VM68 is to large for her, I suggest a different girlfriend that can handle a man's gun.

Trust me she'll love it and will get stronger from using it.

automag...geesh. Next will be the pink InvertMini with purse logo laser etching.
