Can't get my Vm past 140psi

Just like the title says. I used Air and then tried CO2, CO2 got the gun up to 150psi. I turned the valve to the 9 oclock position (the red arrow), replaced the upper bolt orings.
So what else can I do?

Check to see that the screw inside the bolt is not choking the transfer port from the valve as it is designed to allow you to adjust the velocity in smaller increments, also make sure that when you adjust the screw that you land on a detent. As you turn the screw you will feel a pause, this is the ball bearing under the 2nd or 3rd o ring falling into the groove that holds the screw in place so that it doesn't move after you have the desired velocity.

IIRC you can adjust the screw approax.7-8 turns end to end feeling 2 pauses in each turn with the barrel off (Tank disconnected at your discretion)and 5/16 allen wrench.

With your valve in the 9 o'clock position you should be easily able to tune it into the 275-280's range with just the bolt. on CO2, haven't seen any of these that like HPA.

Another thing to look at is to make sure the screws that hold your valve in place are not too long as they might be pinching the valve stem creating friction.

Hope this get's you where you want to be with it.

also check that the bolt itself is not unscrewing. The front aluminum portion is threaded into the back steel portion, where the connecting pin to the hammer is

they can start to slowly come apart, meaning the gas transfer ports won't line up

worth checking. I've had it happen before

also - throw away the valve spring . . . as in don't bother running one
