I'm pseudo-imitating VM-onster's rifle conversion for the VM. He's been very helpful in pointing me in the right direction in getting the same stock he used. Now unlike some tink's here and other message boards, I dont have a lathe or mill in the garage. I don't even have a drill press. All I have is wood blocks and sand paper.

Here are my 3 days of lunch time progress. The first day was spent figuring out how I wanted to mount the VM inside the stock and making measurements. Over the last two days I have been sanding by hand. Slowly removing, fitting, and more sanding. And more sanding. And then even more sanding on top of that. After today's lunch I got the lower trigger block up to the hammer chamber fitted on top of the stock. The front ASA I got slightly recessed. That will take a handful more lunch breaks to sand down.

I tell you one thing, it's a lot harder than I initially thought. I just have to keep my patients and remind myself of the end goal. The upside is I have less likelyhood of messing something up terrible bad by sanding away a hairs breath millimeter layers at a time.

Next time I see another retro-fit I'll give it more props. Because it's not an easy task.

HAHAHA... yea bud, its not easy as people think. It takes a lot of time and patience. Man I think just last week I finished mine finally. changed a lot about the winning one since that there was a deadline to get it in for the contest. Just needed to get something in.

Hahaha... man I hear ya on the sanding and sanding and sanding thing. I would walk in the house from the garage and it looked like I was made out of wood and was sanding myself. lol... Man, my lady was like WTF u doing out there? lol...

Your on the right path, O I forgot to tell you to get some epoxy! If anything goes wrong as far as a crack then hit it up with that and then sand it back down. It will save it from splitting. Came in handy also when u r gonna need a fill for under the barrel since the there will be a big gap no matter what barrel u were to put there. Keep me updated brotha! take ur time...

Thanks for the epoxy tip. Think you can snap a few pictures of the insides of the stock for me?

for sure bro! My camera had a recall fix but I will borrow my girls this weekend. A wood block or what I like using is the pink foam used for installation with it cased it epoxy. Its hard as a rock once it sets and u can shape it however u want with a ease... laterz brotha

I've updated the pictures. I have about one more inch to sink and this will be the hard part. The body I can trace around the upper trigger frame lip that rests on top of the wood stock over the cavity well. The hard part is cutting the lower stock body away for the ASA port to sink into and drop underneath the stock. The ASA port I removed. I'll be purchasing a flush plug in place of the ASA extension from the body and having the underside of the chamber taped for a male quick diconnect nipple. That way I save from removing more wood from stock and my remote coil is an easier connection directly underneath.

I'll probably spend the rest of the weeks' lunches measuring and marking.

The rifle stock tapers and I was wondering if you re-enforced the walls of the stock near the front of the VM where the wood thins some?

A.C. yea man I know what you are saying about it tapering down. I gotta get you the name of what I used. Its was a combo of epoxy and these metal shank like pieces. I will be back...not sure of the name excatly.

Try making one of Tohri's pneumatic VM rifles... I've been secretly (not a secret anymore) trying to put one together for months now, but I can't get it as clean or as compact as his setup

You've gotta see and hold it to truly appreciate what he's done~
