Will this valve work?

I am wondering if anyone thinks this pre-99 Autococker valve seal and guide will work in a VM68 with stock valve...

It should. I have used many cocker cup seals and they all have worked fine.

Sizewise its fine.

I do wonder if a cocker cupseal might be made to lower specs though since it won't be getting hit by a 10lb VM68 hammer.

That said, I've never had a probelm.

Doubt it it is an exact copy of a Sheridan cup seal! may have even been <gasp> purchased by wgp from Sheridan. Remember WGP really did not make much of anything, they bought and had things made for them.

i tried using a cocker cupseal in a vm long ago and discovered the stem was too short, maybe an early cocker cupseal would work since they were basically the same seal as a piranha lb...

I bought 2 of those, they were advertised as early cocker cupseals. They are definately shorter than the VM one I am trying to replace.
