VM parts measurements

Does anyone know the measurements of some parts on the VM? I would like to make a few things for it, however I do not have the VM in my possession yet. I would like to get a head start.

What are the dimensions of the plastic side rails? How wide and long they are, and how thick. Also, what the size I should drill out for the screw is, as I plan on making some out of aluminum.

And what is the diameter of the lower back cap, and what size threads are in it?
Thanks!

The best way to make the side rails is to just use one of the plastic ones to transfer the screw holes. I made all mine out of 1/8 x 3/4 aluminum. Pick up a stick from lowes. If your hands are large like mine, they'll thank you for using the thinner stuff. Trust me!

The rear plug is if memory serves me .987-.990 dia./ .750 long / 10-32 on the sides and .250 top to bottom. Mind you I haven't made a stock adapter in many years but I made many, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks a ton Rambo, I have access to a lathe and mill on wednesdays, and my VM will be here in a couple of days. I wanted to get a head start.
By the way, when you say ".250 top to bottom" are you referring to the 10-32 screws on the side?

Negitive: there are two 10-32 threaded holes at 3 & 9 oclock, there is an unthreaded hole 12 & 6 oclock that the long 1/4" bolt goes through.

Well the VM came in today. Looks good, lots of dings, it has a different barrel too, not stock, it has some long porting near the tip. I aired it up put a hopper on it, and it shot beautifully. And, there is two sets of rental numbers. Only on a VM. Anyway, it also has an aluminum back cap. I always thought it had a plastic one. Well, no I cna bring it in and replicate it exactly. Thanks for all your help everyone!

For anyone who is still interested, this project is going quite well. Last week I only managed to cut the aluminum to length because the other bar I had wasn't straight and wouldn't turn true... oh well. Today I finished turning it down to the correct length and have starting drilling the holes. I will probably finish the stock in the next 3 weeks or so, as I can't use the machine shop next week.
