Question Missing Part?????

OK...I am finding out the joys/curses of buying a use VM. I am missing a part inside the top bolt. It is labeled 68SC-010 on the VMEMPIRE.COM parts page.

How badly is this needed? Is there a replacement?

HELP?????

What comes after insanity? Reality?

Is your top bolt stock? if it is that shouldn't be missing. That's the adjustment screw for the bolt.Best bet for a replacement is to be looking for used stock bolts or just get an aftermarket bolt.I'd say just get a screw that fits at the hardware store but, you'd have to cut slots in a couple places to get it to work right provided the ball bearings are still there.

1 ball bearing is still there. The one that the ring is on. Are there more?? It is stock as far as I can tell.

OK...it WAS in there.....Just screwed down so tight it was next to impossible to see. Was also not the Allen wrench size that was described. Loosened it, got the bearing in the gap as it should be, and gun is starting to sing again.
