Chris Mader is the man!

As many of you know, I ordered from Mass Extinction Paintball in early July, and three weeks later found the site apparently gone. As it turns out, Chris had some serious computer issues, and the site essentially got nuked. This is a man who has enough on his plate already without tech problems.

The long and the short is that a few days ago he e-mailed me back with a profuse apology and a promise of extra goodies with my order. Even though I wrote back and told him not to sweat any of that, that I was happy just to have my original order, today I get this package crammed to bursting with all manner of cool stuff. In fact, just about everything I had secretly wanted to order was in the box!

So. Even though he's having website troubles right now and likely cannot process new orders for a time, I strongly invite you to order from him as soon as he gets back up and running. His prices are fantastic, the goods high quality, and the shipping swift.

Thanks again to all of you who helped me track Chris down and sort this out.

Glad to see it worked out, make sure and post your happiness in his feedback thread if he has one here.

I tried to, but can't seem to find a link to it.

Any clue as to where it is/how to find it?

anyone know another way to contact Chris other than email? I have not received a reply back since may, way before these tech issues. I just sent a new email.

Paid but still no order and worst of all, no reply to the many emails I have sent to 3 addresses I have found.

E-mail is how I got him.

Again, if you did not get BOTH an MXP confirmation and also a Paypal confirmation, then it means your order didn't go through the first time.

The order process was a little convoluted, and I was unsure myself until I got those confirmations.

But it seems mighty odd that a completed/paid order would just sit since May.

Keep us posted.

I didn't get both. I got paypal confirmation but was never redirected back to complete the order on MXP.

My biggest complaint is the lack of email response since May. Sent another one yesterday (forwarded from the one sent on the 6th of Aug.).

So you are saying

a) That you DID recieve an e-mail confirmation (together with transaction/confirmation #) from paypal, but

b) Did NOT recieve an e-mail confirmation from MXP?

Again, if your order went through, you should have gotten both, and they should have come via e-mail. Actually, unless you are a repeat customer, you should have gotten two e-mails from MXP.

It sounds as though something got fouled up in the initial process.

Have you double-checked to be sure that money has actually moved from your account to MXP?

Chris gets a lot of spam, and it may be that either your message line isn't getting through the filter, or else your papyment didn't go through, and so he is ignoring it.

Yeah, the process broke down and I knew that almost immediately. I got confirmation from paypal and payment went thru and charged to my account from paypal but I never was able to "complete" the order from MXP. I use a Credit card that is a checking card and it showed up on my bank statement. I sent him an email immediately from the "contact us" link and gave that about a month. I guess I Can try from every email address.

that is a edited version, the other had account numbers and what not.

9/9/08 Edit, didn't want to bump it up or anything. the issue is solved, Chris sent me a refund via paypal.
