Question Palmer Cup seals are "popping"

hi,
Why would Palmer's Dyna valve for the VM-68 have the seal pop from the brass pressing? Out of the 25 vm-68s that I just rebuilt, so far 6 have had the cupseal rubber wafer pop from the brass pressing with in the first 100 shots causing the gun to turn into a fire extinguisher

I had that happen in a Typhoon some years ago, its probably just something that can happen. That failure rate suggests a bad batch to me though. I would complain.

um, yeah...3 more seals just blew after 20-30 shots. I'm so frustrated right now.

Ive had that happen in a hurricane. Call the shop, if you have a bad batch, they should work with you. I was told it was an under warranty part, but your milage may vary.
