| Red=mod, but not Schmitti | I do not recall him ever owning a Q setup, but I am not the authority on his gear

yea man I took off the rubber bumper and other lil ring and added the same round size of I forget how many excatly, but lead/steal washers and weld them to form a huge heavy hammer. It sounds like the hammer wants to shoot out the back every time u pull the trigger. Its the best I have done at making a fulla auto VM. The biggest problem like everyone says now is the detent. I have gotten a entire qpod off with no breaks but I still dont feel 100% about it becuase of the detent. I will post pics as soon as cannon sends back my recalled camera...Peace

I have tried to full auto a vm myself. Got a spare trigger mechinasm <sp> filed down the secondary sear...installed it... and it sounds super impressive. However its a better blender than a full auto pb gun!! ![]() Would love to see pics of how you lengthened the hammer. Also have a q-loader that i would like to get onto the gun...beneath the tank...beneath the barrel. Please keep us posted! Go VM-68-FA !! |

As far as the qloader, I flipped the handguard then slipped a rubber/plastic piece on length then black electrical tape to make it look clean. I know it sounds ghetto but its like a foregrip on a ar-15 or milsim marker. Ill have to post pics so u can see what I mean. Then I attached the qloader to that and its on and never hand a problem with it coming off or what have ya. As far as the hammer, I did not lengthen it,(well maybe a bit longer) made it the same size as the original hammer but subsituted heavy washers instead of rubber bumper and recocking ring. HP Lovecraft, that is the only thing that sux is that to recock it, you need to push a old school barrel cleaner or what have ya down and manually cock it. Yea the trigger prolly takes a beating, have not played with it much to know yet. In my spare time I work on it to make it more of a reliable FA. I will see if I can get a camera from a friend and show u guys. Hard to explain without pics. But u get the idea... |
